We've done Southern Season in the past, which I guess won't be an option in the future. This year I happened to visit Trader Joe's right after the boxes got put out, so I grabbed them there.
Both Trader Joes and ALDI had them but they are sold out, at least in Cary and Apex. TJ sells out very fast. World Market is usually the last to sell out because theirs are more expensive.

I got mine for $1.49 at World Market. Not sure what price you paid but $1.49 isn't expensive.
