Does anyone know if Happyland Christmas Lights are running this year at Penny Rd & Huntingwood Dr ?

I think when they won the TV contest they noted it would be the last year for the big displays. I don't recall them having much of a display last year.

Thanks. I knew that he didn't put it up last year, but wasn't sure about in the future. I went to high school with the homeowner, and I hope everything is OK with him. I can't imagine how much work it is to put all that stuff out. Can't blame him if he decided to hang it up for good.

Don't miss the house in Holt Rd in Apex. You actually drive through the property. If you are on FB you can put "christmas lights on Holt Rd" into the search box to see what it is and get info on when it's open.

One on Deerview Drive in Raleigh was on the 6pm ABC news today, might be on the 11pm update

They expanded again this year. I happened to see it all lit early last week. Looks great as usual and it's awesome that they share their property with the public.

Lowe family lights are back this year. They were not up last year. His show is always great. They also have a facebook page, Lowe Family Lights.

I was going to drive by there after Holt Rd but on the way to dinner and didn't really have time, glad he's back and will get over there one day!
