I was at Durham coop last week, and they had this challah bread on sale (J Cafe's which is always good), so I picked it up. I also found a good bacon from a local farm, so picked that up too. Then, in the morning, looking at my pantry I was like how about a good egg and bacon on challah? It was great. As I was chewing the last bit of that sandwich, I thought to myself "I bet a good Jewish baker didn't think that I would do such a sacrileges thing with this delicious challah!" But then that beautiful smoky taste of bacon hit me, and there was no guilt, just pure pleasure.
Oh no! I cannot be your friend. But when we move back- hopefully soon- I will have to check out that Durham co-op.

Haha. Sorry!
You definitely should check them out. They carry J Cafe's challah and babka. I grew up eating babka so I always grab one if they have it even though I try not to eat sugary stuff. It's that good.
