proximity to a hotel. Have a friend in town and we went to U2 last night which was GREAT!!
We don't have to work Monday and wanted to hang out tonight too without having to drive, but don't want to take a cab.

Thanks!

Well downtown there is the Marriot and the Sheriton, the Shariton will be cheaper. From there you can walk to: Oxford, Raleigh Times, Big Easy, Fins, Woodys, Busy Bee, The Mint, Foundation, Landmark, and probably more.

There's also the Clarion downtown which puts you smack in the middle of downtown. Then she could check out Flying Saucer or the Borough next door. Then there's also Glenwood Ave with a guarantee there'll be at least a few bars open on a Sunday night. If that fails she could just head the other direction toward Fayetteville Street.
