Hey,
I'm looking for belly dancing outfits such as hip scarves or accessories. I heard I could find it in Indian stores in Chatham square.
anybody know a specialty store that sell belly dancing outfits? or any store that has some outfits? or if Chatham square has it?
There is a booth at the State Fairgrounds fleamarket that sells all sorts of bellydance outfits/accessories. It's in the indoor section. Definitely worth checking out.
yeah i went there but these days was the state fair so there was no flea market..
the flea market is on Saturday only? coz im trying to get it before Halloween
The store in Chatham square has more traditional indian clothing, but you might be able to find something. My wife has been bellydancing for over 5 years and she's bought stuff there before. I'll talk to her this evening and see what she can suggest.
She said they do have shimmy belts there at the store in Chatham Square. She also suggested the flea market, but your timeframe wouldn't work. She has the info of someone in Durham that sells stuff out of her house (she was one of my wife's first bellydance instructors). I'll PM you the info.
