I am moving and have a king sized bed, barcalounger chair and kids bikes that I would like to donate but do not have the transportation to move them myself. Does anyone know of a place that will pick up these donations? Thank you.

I know the Re-Store Habitat for Humanity store in Durham will pick up some things. Not sure about the items you have listed.

I just got a postcard that the Disabled Vets were doing a pickup in March. I don't have anything to donate so I threw it away, but if you call them I'm sure you will get all the info you need. (Postcard said you had to call them anyway to arrange the pickup.)

Beware that Vietnam Vets will not take everything...in our neighborhood they have come and rejected furniture cause it was not nice enough. For instance, our across the street neighbors had a NEW Target kids desk that they put together and would't fit in the kids room and they said, "no thanks" after she waited for them to come pick it up. And this is not the only story I have heard of this.

The only place I know that has taken everything I have put out (well, so far) is NC Children's Promise.
