Is there a place in this area where we could go see cherry blossom?

My front yard has 3 cherry trees blooming! But they only last for about 5 days and are on about day #4, so I imagine all the ones in town are the same way.

I think this is the "peak week" in Washington DC for the cherry blossoms, so you might want to take a trip up there--but so will 1,000,000 other people.

Is it cherries or crabapples that were so pretty in bloom last week in a lovely subdivision entrance off Hwy 55 (east side) between Cary / Apex --I think it's Parkscene Dr.?

This is my first spring in NC, and it's GORGEOUS.....

You've missed the pretty ones in Raleigh. Some of my favorites were over near Wakemed but they are well past their peak.

The ones in our neighborhood here in Durham are already done. You might be too late for most of them.
