Hi ya'll. Im going to be looking to move to Raleigh during my maternity leave which will be around December through March. Tired of living here like most NYers have posted here and ready to take the leap for my family.

Im a legal Secretary in NYC, Litigation with Insurance Defense background. I would like to know if there is a big difference in practice between NYC and NC. What would my chances be in finding work as well. I have looked on Craigslist, there seems to be jobs but I would love to hear from someone in the Legal field that could give me advice.

If anyone has any recommendations of agencies or firms please pass them along.

Thanks much for your help.

Hi ya'll
I can't address the employment issue (other than that I imagine legal secretaries make a LOT less here than in NYC) but I wanted to let you know that you've misspelled "y'all" (which is a contraction for "you all"). Important to know if you end up living here

Wish you the best with your move-as a former NYer my only regret is not making the move sooner. The economy has hit the region hard so employment is tough with alot of competition these days!!!
