A BROKER when the vast majority are
SALESPEOPLE or AGENTS. Imagine an army of Licensed Practical Nurses(not even RN's) calling themselves doctors.
Apartment rental agents are held in even higher contempt than actual real estate salespeople and brokers.
The
perception is that real estate agents lie about almost everything,from whether there is a fee to the size of the fee to neighborhood boundaries to sq footage to neighborhood crime rates .
To most people,real estate agents are beneath contempt,the lowest of the low....lower than politicians and shyster lawyers.... so people feel completely justified in screwing them.
You would think that the real estate industry would do something to clean up it's act and try to improve it's image but it does nothing,so the stigma persists.
Surely you must have understood this when you decided to get into the real estate gig.
