I'm currently working on getting my real estate license and was wondering if you could work in the United States ( New York) and also assist customers internationally? For example, helping a customer sell their beach house in the Bahamas or help clients buy a home in Italy.
Is this anyway possible?
How would you go about doing this? As in licensing and any other steps.
Each country has rules, laws and certifications. Also many provinces in these countries have varied regulations. Join the International Real Estate board within NVAR.
I have to tell you that in my opinion, this is a crazy and extraordinary way to waste your time and resources. I have had friends that decided they wanted to expand to Italy. They had to learn the language take the courses, pass the exams, pay the fees for the province they were targeting. Choose a broker, get their marketing plan together...
And then hope that someone trusts them enough with the biggest purchase of their lives, in a foreign country.
