I agree with that and what their realtor suggested. Having three bedrooms in the basement and two on a main floor is just an odd layout, plus leaving that area open would let the buyers choose what they want to do with it.

If we finished off the 2 smaller bedrooms it would be a 4 bedroom. 2 up and 2 down. We were thinking potential buyers would see it more of a home office with the option to use it as a bedroom. But, I see your point about leaving the 2 bedroom side alone since it lends itself to more creativity in the future. Thanks for all the info, it has been very educational!
