Since I live in Los Angeles,I drive a lot to sellers homes and take buyers just about anywhere,I am thinking of getting this product,I hear it works well.It works with the phone,it even links to the contacts to the phone,
It has a $30.00 instant rebate and a $50.00 mail in rebate, for a cost of $160.00 including shipping
Anyone has used it? I am looking for one,and I hope this is good Palm Store - Palm® GPS Navigator Smartphone Edition 3
I just pay the $10 a month to my cell carrier and use my phone. Turn by turn voice navigation plus maps and search ability. Pretty much the same things as the tom-tom,garmin etc but I don't need another device and it's always with me, plus it never needs update software since it's done by the carrier.

I have the same thing you have, but it seems interesting,it says less devices.I will look into it.
I use it for work on my Treo700 and love it. I am all over the NC region and have yet been completely lost. Obviously new roads will not be updated but I would buy it again and simple to install.
I have the Treo 650 and for the first year I was very happy with it. Since then, I have been having all sorts of technical problems. It crashes and/or freezes almost daily. I have heard much better things about the 700, but still wont be upgrading to it.

I am having the same or very similar issues. I've discovered this is a local area, i.e., DC vicinity problem and not wider!!! Just back from Atlanta and phone worked there 100%, no freezes/crashes and longer battery times.
Is there something in the signal environment or Sprint network in this area that is causing the problem???????
I am thinking it may have more to do with the Palm OS from my experience... A new thread in the technology forum would suit this the best since this one is almost 2 years old.
