We put our house on the market in mid-August and we just went to contract on Monday - 7 weeks of hell, but it's all over now.

We had to lower our price a bit, but in this market I'm just happy it sold fairly quickly.

That was very quick! We were trying FSBO since June and went on the market the end of July and we are sold too but it took longer because we tried to do it ourselves.

Congratulations!

Hate to be a wet blanket but it's not "sold" yet it's under contract. Getting it under contract is only half the battle and believe me I know. Good luck!!!

Congrats! I agree with Tsmith, the deal isn't complete these days until the money is in your bank account. Lot's of wierd things happening these days before closing. Best of luck and hope it goes smooth for you.

Wishing you the best of luck KristyLiz!

Our house went under contract within days of signing up with a realtor. The contract was in limbo for three weeks until the seller could secure financing.

That was in May. Our house is stilllllllllllllllllllllll on the Market today.
Hope things go better for you than they did for us!
