Okay I am very anxious and excited like everyone else about the home buying process. So let me begin, I am going through usda direct loan. I started that process in Oct. 2011. I have been jumping through hoops getting document after document, making sure I get my hours at work and etc. My package has been finally submitted as of 12/30/2011 and my close date is 01/30/2012. I know there is some kind of meeting I have to go through with USDA. I need to know what it will be like and if they will ask for check stubs etc. Thanks!
Side note: The house is brand new and already built. I've already signed a purchasers agreement and the owners are getting impatient. Any info about the appraisal process would be helpful as well. I am in Alabama if that helps.
