The first time it was listed, the asking price was $100 million. No buyers. It's now been reduced to the bargain price of $31 million.

If I were a billionaire I would buy it just to have it.

I remember seeing a story about 50 Cent trying to sell Mike Tyson's old Mansion in Connecticut I think. It even had some original thinks from Mike Tyson still in it, and they were only asking a few million for it, I don't know why someone didn't scoop it up.

It's a huge property! 2700 acres in Santa Barbara! Actually sounds like a bargain....

I wouldn't want Michael Jackson's old house because I'd be afraid it would have cooties.

But Santa Barbara is an extremely expensive area. If that is 2700 acres, someone will buy it... if it has any sort of water rights. It's not worth too much if there is no water for it.

Could somebody buy it at the reduced price, tear down the whole theme park thing, and turn it into a planned unit development?

That's what I was thinking. The land holds the value.

After watching the first part of "Leaving Neverland" last night, I'd have to tear down all the buildings and salt the earth beneath them before I did any redevelopment of the ranch.

Same. I can't find a thread about the documentary. The one on the movie premiere was closed saying there were multiple threads but I can't find any.
