If you are an out of town investor and need someone local to make sure rehab is proceeding, what would you pay? Yes I know the GC is supposed to make sure everything is going according to schedule, however, this GC does good work but needs some prodding. Also sometimes there are decisions to be made about counters, tile, colors etc and I will need a set of eyes or a third party to FaceTime me in.
Would you pay a flat fee? A percentage of the Reno cost? What’s reasonable?
