Well today isn't going well for any of us it appears, dawg nabit! I just got off the phone my realtor suggested that I should consider another 25k drop.........WHAT? I pulled up the mls for my area, the whole zip code and then went another 10 miles south towards the gulf. Guess what-there are 6 properties listed with 10 acres or more, none with barn, fencing, pool, ect. Then 3 off them are higher than mine and 1 way lower that the guy is just bailing on and it is UGLY. Okay if the cheap one has been on the market for 6 months and no takers there how is dropping my price again gonna help? OPINIONS PLEASE-HELP!

Raising- GFI- at some point they were required to be installed- its an outlet that is supposed to be used next to water- bathrooms and kitchens. I believe they are easy to install, if you want to do it yourself. I'll ask my electrician husband. Sorry things are getting difficult for you...
Painter, I'm wondering if a price drop will help this time of year? For us, here, it wont make a difference, no buyers looking at all. Maybe just a small drop to "refresh" it on the agents' MLS??

Well since there isn't much competition I just called agent back and asked him to contact the agents on the other houses to see if they are getting any calls or lookers. Since my place is not the most expensive if they are getting calls I want to know why. If not then we have the answer, just no one wants out here in the country. Its really starting to wear on the old nerves. My daughter has semester break coming up and she will have to sign on for another 6 months here. It almost feels like a 6 month sentence that just keeps on going, lol!

Thank you Lacey! I am having one of those days, I suppose. Just pi**ed me off to hear that advise again, drop- drop and I said drop and roll my gosh it isn't on fire. Kinda ironic your buyers want land and here I have land and no one wants land. Things keep on and maybe I will just start a commune!

Default We haven't heard from our "potential" buyers

so I guess it's a no go. It's been 6 days since they saw the house, I would think they would have put in an offer by now.

Painter everything is fine . We had a garage sale a few weeks ago and a woman came to look and heard our dogs barking. Amy the Papillion was outside with us. She told us that her Yorkie was having pups so we told her I have always wanted a yorkie. I called her Tuesday and she said they had been born 3 1/2 weeks ago. I said I wanted one and could I come and see them. The Mama had 5 girs and there was ony two left. We went last night and I picked the perfect one for me.All of my friends are picking out names. I have a litte over 3 1/2 weeks to get the perfect name. Oh my what have I done? 4 dogs but ike Gary said lb wise they all add up to a big dog. I am so excited.
