Thanks.

The decision to show or not show is not our decision. This is a relocation through a relo co. Buyer signed the relo co's addendums, the relo co accepted the offer. We don't wait until 2 weeks before closing like a lot of relo policies work. Ours is immediate. We'll be getting our - my brain is so fried I cant think of the correct word - money before my hubby reports to work the middle of October. I'll be here till the end of October or until our house closes in KY, whichever comes first.

Tho it's looking as if we'll not close and will have to start looking for a rental. [Over 2 fricking deposits totaling less than $1,600.00 that the loan processor does not accept the explanaiton of.] I knew everything was going too smooth and the fit would hit the shan before it was all over. But whatever is meant to be will be, and I'm not going to fret over it. Life is way too short.

I see what you're trying to say in the car dealership analogy. But it's not quite the same. A Ford Focus is basically the same at any dealership you go to. But a lived in house, even ones that use the same floorplan, are not the same. I guess it just comes down to shopping styles. For me, the more expensive something is, the more I check and compare so I get what I really want. I think a house will be the most expensive something I will ever buy so of course I'm gonna check out quite a few, and some of those more than once. Even if I find one that I walk into and think "this is the one" if I haven't walked through a few more, I'm still gonna walk through them.
