I have a recipe for orange cookies and I used maybe a couple of teaspoons of the orange granules. I have a wonderful lemon cake recipe that uses them, and several other recipes I can't think of at the moment.

Basically any time a recipe calls for lemon or orange peel you can substitue these and they work fine.

I use one or the other in things like banana bread, blueberry cobbler, etc. to make them a little different. You can also blend them with coffee or tea to get a new flavor.
