My family and friends used to be fans of the Knorr Spring Vegetable dip mix. Sadly, they have discontinued it. The regular vegetable mix, both Knorr and Lipton, has too much spinach or whatever leafy veg they have in it and no one liked it.

So, I need a replacement recipe. I supposed I could always get dried vegetables, but was the stock powder just ground up vegetable bullion cubes? How do you get that flavor (without a whole bunch of work)?

Boo-hoo. Wish I knew. We loved that dip, too.

I went on a search. They call their new mix "Vegetable Recipe Mix" and I see they recommend it for their spinach dip.

Here's a page from Pinterest which suggests a copy cat recipe but I am certain that ours never had any pasta in it. It doesn't call for any vegetable broth powder but you could add a little to see, I suppose. Remember it's very condensed in flavor.

This is just an idea I have not done it, but how about a half spoon of some vegetable soup base added to your cream? I love it for my soups. Then you can add some green onions or carrot shreds for color.

They've always had the regular vegetable dip. It is different.

I’d suggest looking for another brand of green onion dip mix, such as Laura Scudders. I know I’ve seen that one in the market.
