I just want to see how everyone thinks about dating a guy you rejected before. Earlier this year I broke up with my ex of 3 years and met this guy Adam. He was nice and charming, but he was moving to a town an hour and half away 3 months from the day we met. We kinda hit it off in the beginning and had a great time. Long story short, I broke it off because I wasn't ready and didn't want a long distance relationship. I ended up talking to this other guy who was younger who lived in town. Adam knew about it. And he said its cool and he moved away.
After he moved away, he still text me quite often. After a while we kinda decided to give this long distance thing a try and had a good few months. I knew what happened back then still bothered him, but he said he's over it. Lately, he became distant and when I asked him, he said as we gotten closer he started having doubts. He doesn't know what he wants and where this relationship should go to. He still feels like he can't trust me because of what happened.
So what's the deal? Should I just call it off? Just give him time to figure out what he wants? Do you guys think a guy can really forget that whole thing and can start fresh when a girl who dumped him once?
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
Sorry but there's zero chance I would give a girl a second chance after she dumped me for some other guy. 'Adam' is an idiot. Obviously he thinks you're hot and he can't decide which head to think with.
Call it off. He obviously cant let go of the past. Hes also long distance which neither of you are comfortable with. Your better off finding someone that is more secure and that you actually like, rather then rebounding with. (It sounds like your rebounding since you just broke up, and were so willing to break up with him and find another guy).
If I reject someone there is no second chance. Obviously I'm trusting my good intuition to know that I shouldn't be with that person.
