This is a poll for men only, please. Would you wear an engagement ring from your fiancee?

OnihC, one of the male posters here, believes that men would wear engagement rings that are just as big and bejeweled as women's, but women are not expected to buy them so they don't.

So I ask you .... would you?

Here are some pics of men's engagement rings, but they look just like wedding bands to me. I guess you would wear two of them?

Men's Engagement Rings

Something like this, perhaps, with a solid metal wedding band.

Here is a pic of a woman's engagement ring. Would you wear something as big as this?

I am making a poll, so that will take a few minutes to show up.

i like rings, so i reckon i'd go along with the idea of both male and female engagement rings, but only if she brought it up first.

diamond engagement rings, though, are not for me... definitely a 'no way' for either one of those.

Why would a guy wear an engagement ring when he's going to be out there banging everything in a skirt right up until the preacher says 'your goose is now cooked?"

Did you vote? I see two "no" votes so far, so I wasn't sure if you were a "yes, simple" vote.

I am honestly having the toughest time finding a pic of a wedding set for a man (where the engagement and wedding rings are made to be worn together, as women's frequently are). It could just be two simple bands together.

i was thinking, something that looks like a single wedding band. literally, as simple as they could make it.

Okay, thanks for your input! (All the other guys so far, too.)

I am the "other" vote so far...

No, I don't want one, but darn straight I'd wear one if it were bought for me.... I'm not going to reject a gift of that nature from someone that's going to be my wife (hypothetically).
