It's funny how they can conspire like that. I had two rescue dogs (3/4 german shepherd, 1/2 husky - brother and sister), and one was definitely always the instigator. She knew how to get out of the fence, and the other would follow, and I'd get a phone call that my dogs were running around several streets away.

Our rescue dog right now is a mix of so many breeds. Originally we thought she was a Sheltie/german shepherd mix, but now we're seeing some kind of terrier as well as border collie. She's definitely got the herding instinct, because when anyone walks into the kitchen, she will push you along with her nose toward the cabinet where the dog food is kept. When it's time for bed, she will "herd" my parents up to their bedroom.

Holy junk I am grouchy. Not sure if it is the headache or lack of sleep.

I don't get that at all. VERY cowardly. Amazing how strong people feel hiding behind their monitors in the first place, but to then leave an anonymous rude comment?? Just leave your screen name, because that's all someone is to me in those cases. A screen name.

I'm sure it was my fault and I didn't close the door all the way, because I already removed the handles because my other dog could open the refrigerator. Aye yi yi!!
So it's business as usual, then...

I haven't gotten one yet; mine are just rude to my face (or my computer screen).

Why don't you take one of your two-hour naps? And dare we ask why the lack of sleep?

I have a new Dutch Shepherd well an older dutch shepherd. He snores. The best was a Golden Retriever I had, she would blech and fart.
But the Shepherd managed to get a flipper and destroy it. I don't dare leave food on the counter.

He is a great dog but I sometimes have to shake my head.
