Remember the famous blackout in NY and NJ areas about 6-7 summers ago when people couldn't get in touch with each other? Guess which network was the only one that worked? Verizon.
I didn't even realize that. I just know so many people that jumped ship originally for ATT's Blackberry's and later for the Iphone. That's the only real complaint I have about Verizon, is that they're always lagging behind with their phones, but otherwise we're very happy with them.
Ha ha!!! I'm not the only one with an outdated technology!
You're not missing anything MM. If I weren't in the market for a new ipod at the time I replaced my phone, I probably would have renewed my plan and got a free phone that comes with the service plan. It just made sense to spend the same amount of money and get a combination phone/camera/ipod. I'm not much or a talker or texter on the phone and where I live 3G internet phone/service sucks anyway.

I should finally dump the Sprint...but it's like marriage. I've had this provider for so long, I can't seem to break up with it.

I think the fact that it has a camera and ipod is what so attractive about it, for me. Otherwise, I don't really care that much for having internet at the palm of my hand. Everyone in my office sneaks around with it, goes on FB, googles, checks emails...I just don't feel like having such easy access is even healthy...so yes, I agree, I don't think I'm missing much.
I can't tell you how many people I know that left Verizon for AT&T and as soon as their contract was up, went back. In NJ, Verizon's network really can't be beat.
When I'm in a big city like Boston or NY, my service is great. It varies in certain buildings, but for the most part the service is strong. But get away from the city and service with AT&T can be sketchy.
Has anyone of you guys ever skydived? I have been thinking about it, I'm really really scared.
Nope. I have no desire to leap out of a perfectly good aircraft. Everyone I know who has done it said it was great. I'm just too chickenshyt to do it. Hell, I hate to fly, so there's no way I'm jumping out of a plane unless I absolutely have to.
I'm afraid of roller coasters. Jumping out of a plane would probably give me a heart attack.
I understand. If roller coasters are not your thing, I cannot imagine you would have any desire to skydive.
I'm a huge roller coaster junkie.

I'm really too scared to do it as well.
I keep thinking that it's something I SHOULD try, because I love the feeling of thrill and would probably enjoy it, but at the end of the day, I don't know why I would risk my life like that...especially now that I'm a mother.
