I love it when an alcoholic drug dealer who dropped out of college is making more money than me, a college student with a high GPA. And no he's not some sort of prodigy or good businessman, he basically gambles and plays the lottery.
I'm watching "go with it" with Adam Sandler and the chick he is after is pretty immature for a 23 year old. Sadly, I know a 26 year old just like her, minus the hot body.

But I wonder ...
We always notice the bad guys who get their comeuppance but we miss the ones that live a long, prosperous life, perhaps because we don't want to see them - it would shatter our fragile theories.
If luck is indeed a random event, then how could it run out? It is inexhaustible, it strikes randomly; you have a 50/50 chance of either dying young when you're bad or living to a ripe old age.
