OMG, Chessie, I just looked that up. You know, I've always liked sweet and salty things together, but I just figured I was being greedy. Now I find out it's actually acceptable in the cooking world.
If you like sweet/salty treats (I'm a HUGE sweet & salty fan - choc-covered pretzels are a fave) then you will LOVE this stuff. Seriously...my son and his friends went apesh*t over it. Nothing this decadent should be this easy to make!
I just recently saw this hilarious spoof of Nigella, but I can't find it. Yes, Chow finds her very interesting, too, but I don't think he's even aware of the words coming out of her mouth.

I do. And I love choc-covered pretzels.
Okay, it's decided, I'm making it. I can only hope some of it makes it to my family.

I've made the saltine toffee before. It is good...completely forgot about that recipe.
I might have to give it a go this year. My kids love all things covered in sugar...lol
Oldest son just came in and said "will you get cereal we will EAT" (as in anything with more sugar than flakes)...lol, guess they don't like my twigs and berries, as my husband calls it.
If the day comes that I am in the Tampa area, I'm yours to do what you will.
You may just not like that combination of cheeses, maybe added too much of an ingredient, or just not like fondue!
I can't see how anyone doesnt enjoy fondue though. It's melted cheese!

We made some fondue years ago we liked, with Velveeta cheese.
