If this is the case, the words themselves actually mean quite a bit, indeed. In fact, without the words spoken, that kind of person may in fact feel, rather unloved.

There's not always something definitive or specific but you just know. You feel it. It's not always explainable just like your reason for loving someone isn't always explainable. You know when you know. You just know.

It is, I agree. You're lucky to have experienced it once in your life. Problem is, I don't know if that many people would recognize it if it landed on their doorstep. Everyone (<---and I use the word loosely) seems to be too busy looking over their shoulder to see what they're missing to appreciate what they have beside them.
