Under "Would you consider meeting someone from OKcupid in real life?" many girls put down "Hesitant, but would consider".

If you're "hesitant".....WTF are you doing on a dating website in the first place?!?!?!?!?

Or is it because they think that putting "Totally willing!" will make them look desperate and they're afraid of that?

You're looking way to into OK Cupid. It's a free dating site. You get what you pay for, which is nothing. If you get something, then it's well worth the effort IMO.

I've heard bad things about Okcupid. Fake profiles, liars, etc.

Let me rephrase. Not everyone is bad on there. I'm not bad, I don't think, and the guy I met is not bad, in fact he is a pretty well rounded person ... I just think he changed his mind about me.

That was my last foray into dating; I've tried everything else without any success either and have since disabled my profile on there.
