I had a boyfriend like that once. It felt like stalking and now I refer to him as "That idiot Bob."

I'll take a guy who does half the housework and is sweet to the kid. If he makes me laugh, all the better.

I agree with most everyone so far...

Personally, I get turned off by a guy who comes on too strong no matter where we may be in the relationship...and from what I've heard from my married friends the sentimental yearnings stop after the wedding night...LOL...I'm sure they are kidding...I think...lol

I have a guy friend who fits this bill... and then he wonders why women are not into it?
I'm thinking that the person that originally posted this meant it in a sincere way...

There are women out there I'm sure that would love this...but it kinda reminds me of the movie with Julia Roberts...'Sleeping With The Enemy'...that movie was creepy!

'tis always a great way to start the day,specially when you don't have to go to work and can laze in bed even more...

Guys what I think the ladies are saying is there has to be balance when it comes to affection,they don't want a puppy dog.

Though,I like giving affection,really like it when we curl up when sleeping or laying around,but nobody wants to be constantly showered in affection cause it gets old that way,I think us guys at least I feel the same way.

Unfortunately alot of people see it as a sign of weakness,I guess most people need love but space at the same time.

Also, at least in my experience, there's a flip side to all that showing up and whisking you off to lunch and it's control. "That idiot Bob" called me at work 5 times a day, left notes on my car and showed up uninvited at my apartment. It was more about him keeping an eye on me than it was any true show of affection. In addition to smothering it was creepy. Ugh.
