I'm completely lost. I don't understand how one man's eyes can be more attractive then another man's eyes.
Ladies, I'm failing to understand the whole concept behind finding a man's eyes attractive.

Whats fascinating is that a man's eyes seem to be the defining facial characteristic even more so then white teeth and a great smile that make him attractive or not.

How can something like eyes be so important. We all have the same looking eyes for the most part...

Is it the color, eyelashes, shape of the pupil I don't know what??

Eyes are the windows to the soul, as Tolstoy said. Eyes can be very expressive.

Why are you fixating on eyes? What's behind this inquiry? It's the sum total of all the parts that make up the package. A smile can light up a room. Hair can be very seductive, which is why I can't fathom why the trend for too long has been to cut it all off

So what's up with the eyes issue, OP?

I don't know that everyone has the same eyes.

Someone with interesting eyes really stands out though. Used to know this guy with really intense blue green eyes...not sure that everyone would have found him good looking, but his eyes really drew me in.

OP, have you never seen a woman with expressive eyes? Same concept.

My eyes are the first thing people comment on. They can definitely make or break a look.

Not everyone has the same eyes, believe me. And eyes are effective communication tools.

Fascinating...some of the posts here make me wonder though just a bit, if a person is not particularly very good at expressing body language or non-verbal communication, including through his or her eyes, does that change the basic equation at all, in any way? For example, for a person who relies more on words and verbal communication, vs. communicating with her or her eyes or body language?

Eyes are like windows to the soul. Eyes can say so much.

Yes. If someone's body language doesn't jibe with their verbal communication, it can send an off-kilter signal. Also, people who don't understand body language, who can't interpret it, are at a handicap. It's amazing what we take for granted.

I wonder if OP is one of those people, perhaps even on the autism spectrum? The question strikes me as very sincere--that he really does not understand facial expressions.
