OMIGOD -- it's that scene from the movies where someone otherwise unobtainable by the party in question has "seen the light" and realized what a great and awesome person their erstwhile pal was all along!
She's been through good times and bad... shared laughter, heartaches and pain... but TVSG was always there for her and when things drifted she was hurt, sought solace with Biff, the successful and good-looking jerk! Now time has passed and sitting there on the beach in Cancun, tossing back beverages illegal in most countries, it suddenly hit her how unfulfilled she's been, how empty and meaningless her life has been all along despite the fake smiles, the vacuous laughs, the utter pretense of it all...

Actually, I did think it was a pretty good OP. And how do you know rabbit is finally making some progress? That would definitely be cause for major celebration. Is that why we haven't heard from him in awhile?

Agreed. Im in a committed relationship for the first time in 5 years, And see friends and speak to family (They live far away) regularly. She does the same. A relationship should add and enhance a person's life as a whole.
