I am asking for a job that may raise eyebrows. So just answer the question like others have already or move on. Like some have answered already, it is sort of a taboo or unnaceptable for a man to work there. So yes, there are jobs where men just don't look good doing.
I think her assumption about pot stirring was legit being that you used the *eyeroll* at the end of your question.
However, I would not have an issue with a man as a preschool teacher for my children.

I don't think it's taboo. Men certainly have to be checked out thoroughly for such positions since men are responsible for 99% of child molestations, rapes, homicides, etc, but that's just par for the course. Now, if you're some meth head with a record and you're looking to start a daycare in your living room, well, that would raise eyebrows (regardless of gender).
By this, I mean men who are librarians, flight attendants, teachers of the less technical subjects, interior designers, etc? There are married men within all these professions, but seldom do you see their spouse? At any rate, your answer is ...

Think back in your arsenal of movies. What about that scary woman that "Erin Brockovich" dropped off her kids to for day care?
How about a man working in a daycare or pre-school?
Of course I would ! What the hell is wrong with a man working in a daycare or pre-school ?!?!
He might get kids out of his system during the day thus not wanting them at home , always a bonus for me ! The guy would also have to have the patience of a Saint, be fun and willing to look silly, kind and I would see all those as desirable qualities.
Very few professions would turn me off a guy - a few below:
Stripper
Banker
Some Lawyers ( too much prostitution of ideals in that profession IMO)
StockBroker
Pig Farmer ( because of the smell which is almost impossible to eradicate - no matter how hard you scrub)
Republican Senator/Working for the Republican Party
Lobbyist ( from both sides)
Politician - Not all but most
Gym Owner
Pimp
Porn Actor/Director
Arms Dealer
Anyone who works for what I consider immoral industries pretty much
Those guys who organise African safaris so morons can go and bag wild animals for fun
A certain type of Businessman like Trump etc....
There are no professions which are "Gay" or "Female"/"Male" IMO. There are people doing jobs and getting paid for them. What people do for a living only influence the way I see them when it is something which I see as "immoral" or indicates I will have little afinity to them. I could not give a monkey;s furry derriere about what a man does as long as he is decent, honest, kind and a good guy. Nice guys is what I look for , whther pre-school teachers/assistants or lumberjacks. A good man is a good man. Period.
Just because you have a certain view doesn't mean everyone else agrees with you. There are easily many millions of people that think flight attendants should be only women and that the men in them are gay. Honestly, I don't even know how you could disagree with me here
Ummm....NOT. Sorry, but you've clearly not flown much in your life.

I have to take exception with pig farmer. I have several in my family, and they actually smell quite nice, after they shower.

I've flown more than most people who don't travel for business.
However, the amount I've flown has absolutely nothing to with the fact that many people consider male flight attendants either gay or in a woman's job. Nice try?
Thus far, 20% of those polled are saying NO. This is a liberal forum. A real cross-section of America would probably pull up the NO factor.
Doubt it. I am far from liberal on most issues. And I definitely voted no.
