you don't think you're even that into someone, but when they leave you, you're hurt and you cling onto the scant memories you two "shared" even if it really didn't mean much to you at that time or even now. And you find yourself "missing" that person. I put that in quotes because I think it's superficial.
I think it's an ego thing. In fact, I'm beginning to think all relationships are about one's ego. Because being in a relationship helps you feel better about yourself, that another human being loves you for you. And I came to the conclusion that one shouldn't be in a relationship unless they're so sure of themselves they can contribute greatly to another human being, because if you want to receive, you should give. Instead of asking what can they do for me? ask, what can I do for them? Without being taken for granted? This is just something I came up with, haven't tried it out on an actual person yet. Anyone else with that mentality that is dating someone?

I kind of have the same thinking to a certain extent; i don't believe in love at first sight for the most part. Mainly cause you don't know the person and cause it's 100% based off appearance in that situation. This would fit nicely under, would you date a random person? or would you date a friend? Cause i've always looked to friends before random people.
