It's about 2.5 hour long musical. Would you see it at a theater with a girl?
A guy asked me out (second date). I told him that I would go but I would like to see "Les Miserables". He took me and we saw it together. But before the movie starts, he says, " I don't normally see this type of movie and it would be the first time but I would do it for you because I like you".
At the end, he said that he had a great time and would like to see me again.

Reason: Edit
Absolutely not. Last time I made that mistake was a double date with another couple for the movie 'Titanic'. We made it about 30 minutes before me and the other guy snuck out and went and had beers at a restaurant in the mall. The girls finished the movie though.
Sure. No problem from me. A good movie is a good movie whether it's an action flick or a musical. If my wife could sit through Master And Commander or any of the Bourne movies for me a couple of times, I can sit through Les Miserables. It really doesn't threaten my manhood.
However, I draw the line at seeing Moulin Rouge again. Gayest. Movie. Ever.
For one, I like Les Mis. I have seen the musical, and I have read the book (and what a marathon read THAT is!). I saw the movie with my wife too, and thought it very well done (although some of the actors are not the greatest singers).
In the event it was a movie I was not excited to see, but my SO was excited to see it and asked me to accompany her, I would see it with her. Why not? If she asked me to see it, then she wants to see it with me. I care about her desires as well as my own, so I willingly do it and enjoy it for having the chance to spend an evening with her.
