That's a guy who makes so much money he buys a 1.4 million dollar home on 3 acres on the top of the hill. He calles the Sheriff every time he hears gunfire or someone revving his '68 390 V8 up too.

All the neighbors hate that douche!!

You really are NOT helping out the country guys with the "he's not country enough if he has a professional degree or earns high six figures" nonsense.

Cowboy/Country guys are more gentlemen like but it also seems to be centered around a cultural norm for them with the two playing their roles as man and woman. Break out of those roles or if anything makes him feel less of a man and there might be some trouble. If he's really traditional it's like messing with some divine order...
Breaking out of those roles does not make him feel less of a man. He simply does not understand nor respect a woman who is not satisfied being a woman.

Nothing beats the general skills a country guy can muster. I mean I've seen them work on cars like no other, hunt like they're life depended on it, build stuff from scratch and ride horses like they're John Wayne. Growing up near the country and seeing that was too cool. I mean that alone, the aspect of working hard and playing hard is really appealing and is what sets them miles apart from the metro. Although the con is that there is a limit as to where that can take you if you're a woman looking for financial stability. Not all of them own land, and many work hard jobs for long hours.
Working hard jobs for long hours is infinitely preferential to having a Masters degree in some useless discipline and being out of work for long periods of time, imho.

The 'country' guy doesn't care....as long as it's clean and BO is in check.
I love a guy who pays a great deal of attention to his looks and grooming. That's why God created his & hers sinks and his & hers walk-in closets!

Sure I am....he isn't. Not with his BMW and Audi in his garage either. He's not fooling anyone....

I guess I shouldn't be 'supprized' at a self confessed metro lovers idea of 'country' and what that means.

Well...so far as I have seen and can tell, you won't see us change up to 'fit' a date or be something we are not. That makes us honest about who and what we are. You won't ever hear me discuss how much money I make and other topics city boys use to land women. It's always the same...

The truth be told that John Deere is $250,000.......only a 'country gal' is smart enough to know it.

The same as that $50,000 3/4-1 ton truck.

You'll actually see some metro broad in a $15,000 KIA with her boyfriend laugh at the country guy in his $50,000 1 ton dually.....

If she only "knew"!

I remember watching that Pawn Stars show on TV. This exotic dancer had a cowboy boyfriend. When they spit up she had some of the stuff he bought her to sell. One of which was a Nighthawk Custom Talon 5" Government 1911 he bought her to keep at the house when she was alone. She went on and on about him being a cheapass and not taking care of her.

When she found out she was holding a $3,100 pistol...she about crapped her pants.
