No, just adding some truth and commentary to this thread. Pointing out some facts that the movies don't tell you. I'd bet at least 1 out of 10 who thinks they want a 'country' guy or a 'cowboy' have never met a real one before. I also don't count six figure big shots with masters degrees 'country'. That's a guy who makes so much money he buys a 1.4 million dollar home on 3 acres on the top of the hill. He calles the Sheriff every time he hears gunfire or someone revving his '68 390 V8 up too.

You really are NOT helping out the country guys with the "he's not country enough if he has a professional degree or earns high six figures" nonsense.
Cowboy/Country guys are more gentlemen like but it also seems to be centered around a cultural norm for them with the two playing their roles as man and woman. Break out of those roles or if anything makes him feel less of a man and there might be some trouble. If he's really traditional it's like messing with some divine order...
Breaking out of those roles does not make him feel less of a man. He simply does not understand nor respect a woman who is not satisfied being a woman.

I remember watching that Pawn Stars show on TV. This exotic dancer had a cowboy boyfriend. When they spit up she had some of the stuff he bought her to sell. One of which was a Nighthawk Custom Talon 5" Government 1911 he bought her to keep at the house when she was alone. She went on and on about him being a cheapass and not taking care of her.
