Quite a few women have turned me down recently, or shown a lack of interest.
Can I blame them for this because:
1. I am a fine sort
2. Have reasonable status and looks.
So it must be their fault right?
"Fine sort" and reasonable status and looks can be relative. They may not be interested for a variety of reasons. Maybe it is their fault-Or not. Point is, rejection can be painful, But you will have to weather this and continue if you want to meet someone-Sooner or later you will in time most likely.
It's good you have confidence, Ken. Just don't project cockiness. They are not the same and it can turn someone off if you are too conceited. Just some advice.
