there are usually workarounds to almost any situation, i have found niches in which i do quite well.

Does not mean I treat someone bad or am any less committed, it is simply a recognition that I would rather settle than be alone. If you would rather be alone than settle then that's your choice.

I think when these situations play out no one is delusional about what is going on.
