You say to yourself, "Red flag! Control freak!", and you bail. Or you suggest to the person that they need therapy for their paranoia issues, possibly stemming from a prior bad experience. In which case, they would probably bail, lol! Either way, the relationship would be toast, sooner or later.

Explain the context, although I don't know if it would change my initial thought, much the same that R4T had -- control freak. Were you guys talking about something in particular? It's an odd thing to ask and I guess she is testing you in some stupid way.
You say "bugger off" and you dump them like a hotcake. No-one has any right to be snooping through your stuff checking up on you. Trust is the cornerstone of all relationships.
I know there is some correlation between this thread and the snooping thread, but I do see a difference. The OP said a girl whom he just started seeing is asking to see his phone apparently to see who he is calling or texting. In the snooping thread, the implication is that the relationship is long term and serious and that there is a reason to wonder if something is going on. This girl apparently has no reason to suspect anything and seems to be a control freak from what the OP posted.
Go ahead...just don't mind the nudies of my exes..
