Is it too much if I get my bf of two months an expensive gift?

His birthday was in October and I did not get him a present( right before we started dating). My bf treats me really well so I think he deserves it.

I think it sounds like a very thoughtful and wonderful gift. You know he needs a wallet and you will be getting him a quality one.

Your ethnicity has nothing to do with it. But your warped sense of the value of money has everything to do with it; and you are in denial about the problem. If your thinking was meaningful, you wouldn't be online asking strangers for opinions. Most likely this guy will run as far away from you as possible.

I help people who are in need. I sent money to the town where I grew up to buy gifts for poor kids. I think were just different. I dont value money the way other people value it. Whats important to me is happiness. I like seeing the people around me happy. Like I said I dont mind spending money on people I care about if I think that its something that would make them happy. I give alot but I never once in my life had to worry about money. Somehow I always end up having extra money to give.
