I've never met a hot socially awkward woman past the age of say, 25, in my life.
The world caters to hot looking people, so everyone would have been trying to hang out with her and integrate her into society. As early as freshman year in high school, all of the upper classmen would have been inviting her to parties and stuff.
A cute woman who is socially awkward is somewhat possible.
A better comparison would have been a woman who is really hot but high maintenance and mean versus a woman who is average or below but very nice and you have a lot in common with her.
As far as your question, as long as they were a good woman, I'd consider it and then see how we fit.

This was my first thought upon reading the title. If "socially awkward" was her worst quality, I could look past that. But you don't see hot + socially awkward. It's hot + stupid/entitled/mean/etc., and in those cases, I take the second girl.

It's funny, considering all that is said about confidence and social skills overcoming lack of looks, you never do see it. At least if you consider hot the Top 20% of women or so.
I remember when I was a senior in high school and the popular guys in my grade used to invite the hottest/cutest freshmen girls to the parties. Even the ones who were totally prude and innocent.
Considering that natural progression, there's almost no way to be an attractive woman and be ostracized from society without aggressively pursing that. It's true for good looking men too, but to a lesser extent.
These kinds of choices really do make me laugh. I wonder why it is that there are so many threads on here about beautiful women who have something extremely wrong with them compared to overweight women who really have it going. LOL
What's husky though? She legit fat or would most guys hit it?
