For example a woman walks by and the men that are on the street yell out stuff like "DAM! Can I take a picture?" Or, "She knows she bad!" "How ya doin beautiful" etc...

Would it make you feel desired since this reaction is almost always genuine? Because you are so pretty that these men start salivating like dogs and can't help but holler? Or would you feel disgusted that a bunch of young men would holler at you like that? Please be honest. I see a lot of women smile and react positively, whether these men are ghetto urban youth or straight homeless people.

You appear to be confusing "hitting on" with street harassment.

It happens to me on average twice a month..... a little more in the warmer months.. go figure. If it's just something simple, I smile and sorta of nod as a 'thanks' for the compliment. If the man becomes annoying or is over the top about it, that pisses me off.

I'm not real fond of when it happens IN FRONT of my husband, because I think it's disrespectful to him.....but....once in awhile I do like him to see that I do get comments from guys...to keep it real for him.

And sometimes I have no reaction at all.

It's not complimentary, it's harassment. Women shouldn't feel put on display for men's enjoyment just because they are out in public.

eh, no big deal to me I thank them for the compliment and move on with my day.
Nothing to get uptight or upset about in my opinion.

I hope you're kidding, if not hopefully he wises up and finds someone who respects him instead of someone who wants to''keep it real for him.''. You have issues, and there are words for these type of folks I would rather not use but Im sure you have heard it before.

No, because it usually isn't genuine. A lot of the guys are just being obnoxious. You're assuming only outstandingly attractive women are hollered at. The reality is, most young women with at least average looks are hit on by strangers. I'm average and I'm whistled at occasionally. It means nothing to me. Most men don't have high standards for looks. Being hit on in public is NOT an indication of a woman's attractiveness. Almost all women are hit on at some point in their lives.
