Are selfies acceptable profile pics? My last one was with my dog, and I posted one on fb accidentally, my ex made a "funny" comment that I take a lot of selfies. It was 2nd in almost 3 yrs, really is it that important? Btw every time I change a pic he comments

Maybe you shouldn't take these jokes and comments so hard? People's opinions are just their business, not yours.

Selfies are lame and everyone mocks people who do them.

Especially if they are all "duck face" pics.

I only have a low opinion of selfies when there are a lot of them. One or two don't bother me though because it's just something people do. If you want something other than selfies, have a friend take a picture of you... or put the camera on a timer and step back and get a picture.

I can't tell, but it almost sounds like your ex making comments sounds like a nuisance to you. Is it worth having him as a FB friend?

I see no inherent problem with it per se.

If they are mixed up with other pics, they're fun and current.

I think you're ex was trying to take a jab at you, and you bought into it.

If the selfie is flattering, it's fine.
