I'm just curious.

How much $ do you expect a man you will consider marrying to make? The basic minimum you expect him to make. Let's say mid 30s to early 40s in age, so he should have his career established by then. Let's say the median income geographically, so if you live in San Fransisco, chop a little off, if you live in Florida, move it a little up, etc, etc.

I'm not really interested in hearing why, I know the why. Numbers. Please just answer the poll.

If I was looking to marry a man (which I'm not because I'm already married), he would have to make at least 80-90K per year. Otherwise, I might date him but I wouldn't consider marriage.

I guess $60K or more per year would be good, but I've dated guys who made less. I'm currently making $80K, so that's what I'm going by.

Just a note.

I don't really care about how much you make or don't and really don't want to hear justification. It's pretty obvious that is going to spiral the thread into doom.

Just answer the poll.

To live by the basics.
Although I dress decent, I don't need to keep up with the jones. I see this with my sister in law. Her coworkers have exspensive stuff, she needs to match them or up them. Don't get me wrong if it's practical I get it.

Strong name to expectation ratio lol

Personally, I hide my wealth from the women I date and I don't think I ever would make it clear to anyone I date. I am not trying to be with a woman that is a gold digger just with me because of the amount of money I make. The only indicator women probably have are the clothes I wear and the car I drive. I like to leave the car home on the first date and ride my sports bike instead.

This should be interesting. Although I find this one of those things were women say one thing and do another. If the woman really likes you she will over look how much money you make.

Enough to support himself so that he isn't drowning in debt or expects me to constantly loan him money.

I don't want to have kids and I have my own money and my own job so money is not as big of a concern for me. I care more about penis size.
