A week after classes started we started talking a bit for maybe 4 weeks. I finally had the courage to ask her out today she said she would like to go with me. But when I asked her what day she was free she said she would have to let me know because she might be working. but when she agreed she sounded excited. also she asked me to send her a text because she lost all her contacts. so was this her letting me down easy or could she actually be busy. I'm curious because if she wasn't interested she wouldn't have told me that she lost her contacts. Should I call her tomorrow or friday to see whats up even though she told me she will let me know? I'm already over thinking this. I've asked out girls who ended up being flakes this is why I'm asking.
Next time you ask a girl out, you might want to have a set date and time so that way it decreases the chance of confusion like this, plus you appear more of a "take charge" person. If the time you pick turns out to be no good, let her do the talking, but don't put the ball in her court so fast. Now all you can really do is wait. You will have your answer before long if she's playing games or not.
