I think the point is, we can all be attracted to someone who logically isn't a good bet as a partner, and when that happens, the reasons can be pretty much the same if it's a "bad girl" or a "bad boy".

Maybe the most interesting thing is that articles like this are written as "Why women like bad boys" or "Why men like bad girls" and not "Why we like bad people".
