Oh, wait! I've just remembered a few boys having crushes on me before high school! It was simple and easy to detect. My guy friends would hold my hand, do some flirty and seductive face, annoy the heck out of me, or show various ways that he cares for me.

And I realllly detest it when a guy walks up to me and says, "Yo, you see my friend over there? He likes you!" and starts giggling like the little b*** he is. His friend also laughs

But is was a no brainer back then; now, it's hard to tell if a decent guy has feelings for me or is just being nice.

It's easy to spot out those really creepy guys, all wide eyed, haven't bathed in weeks, asking random questions (just not right in the head in general), trying to hit on me, though...

Personally with me I squeal a lot to my friends, seek dating advice, gush over my crush like a totally girl...but it never goes anywhere cause I'm too chicken of getting rejected. Quite frankly, I don't ever want to have another crush again. They're too painful and my feelings (ugh, guys, don't you get tired of a woman expressing her feeeelliiiings? I found myself annoying at one point, lol) get really conflicting and confusing.

Hmmm interesting....I usually just touch him a lot.

You know shoulder pats, touch the arm, hand, back, etc.

I'm not really a touchy sort of person so....

But that seems really interesting to try in the future

I am not shy... I'll make sure he knows I am around, and if that doesn't work... I will approach him.
