Apparently, teachers, librarians, admin assistants, nurses, and other approved "but those can be feminine and sexy!" professions don't count as "careers," nor do those holding the positions count as "career women." I guess their jobs are just hobbies.

Isn't that like 90% of women?
Some of you men are seriously turned off by a woman working hard through school and then going off to make money and be successful? I don't get it.
All of the guys I know (some even very traditional) have no issue with this. In fact, some find it a turn on knowing he won't have to support her.
They say they're turned off by "career women", but then they call non-career women deadbeats and gold-diggers.

Them working doesnt make me the least bit insecure. I feel sorry for them actually. Corporate America has conned an entire extra half of the population into spending their lives in tedious jobs for 2 weeks of vacatoon a year and a few sick days. And now it takes 2 incomes instead of 1 to survive. Women are the ultimate suckers, got conned into the racket.

In all fairness, there are only a few (less than reputable) men on this thread propagating this view.

It's 2015. Most of the men I know actually prefer the financial security of dual incomes and two pensions or 401ks.

They have to be those fake career women...you know...teachers and the like.

Come on, guys. Resist the pull to let such blatant idiocy show. You can do it.
Lol!!! I know right. Im cracking up laughing at some of the responses about career women being mean and whatnot.

Oh my...some of the men on the forum are just .... ridiculous.

These are the ones who constantly fuss about being single, not getting dates, not getting 2nd dates, not getting returned texts/calls. Sheesh.

They got conned, but they did it out of necessity, because economic factors now demand that both people in a couple work? Which is it man, it can't be both. You sound confused.

Mod cut.
