I'd get confused, screw the whole thing up and kick everyone out of my kitchen. Although I suppose we could negotiate beforehand who's spreading the mustard; wheat or pumpernickel; are we cutting the crusts off this SOB?

How long do you guys think it will take for this to be legalized in the USA?
It's tough to say. Legalizing same-sex marriage was simpler in the sense that we already had an existing framework for two-person marriage; it was just a matter of doing away with the gender restrictions for those two people. Poly marriage is more complicated because there is no legal framework yet for issues like marriage licenses, tax codes, healthcare proxy, next-of-kin status, not to mention how divorce and child custody would work.
I believe that whether or not society accepts polygamy (which means many spouses. not specific to single wife nor husband in a group) should be treated as separate discussion from whether or not it should be recognized legally.
licenses, tax codes, health, inheritance, should not be conditions that prevent a multi-partner relationship from forming if that is what they believe would bring happiness.
Results section: Openness to Legal Concurrent Multiparty Marriage
"If it were legal, would you be open to being married to more than one person concurrently?"
14.4% said NO.
Results section: Social Utility and Monogamous Privilege
"Another statement on the LM 2012 survey, “Jones believes that any form of intimate relationship between consenting adults is fine, but that none deserve special recognition or privileges
..
66.9% of all respondents believe no relationship configuration deserves special recognition (i.e., agree with Jones); 62.0% of currently married respondents agreed with Jones; and 70.6% of unmarried respondents believe no relationship configuration deserves special recognition."
