Would you be willing to date someone you weren't that attracted to, if it were to help a cause that you felt was an important one? Such as a political issue or a charitable case?

If you knew that dating this person would help the cause, group, or individual you were trying to promote?

How is that different from being a common escort?

A cause... meaning...you want someone to de-virgin you as an act of social justice?

If it was one of those bachelorette or bachelor auctions to raise money, where you bid for a date or someone bids for a date with you, sure I would do that. I wouldn't take it any further than an innocent date though unless I ended up genuinely liking the guy though, not going to kiss him just to further a cause, lol.

Probably wouldn't be able to even if I wanted. I have a hard time pretending to like somebody I don't.

Explain how this would even go down. How would someone date someone that would help a cause or charity?

If I'm going to date....it's because I like the person.

No other reason for it.

The charity cases end with a checkbook for me, not my _____.

I would do one of those charity date things where someone wins a dinner with me or some other tame outing (like a show). But not anything more.

OP, who are you trying to save, who is the charity? This whole thing is pretty insulting to the one that is charity.
