If more men were honest on On Line Dating sites, their self summery would probably read like this:
I only want extremely good-looking women who have kept the same body as they had at age 18. I'm not interested in sharing common interests. I don't care if she likes the things I like because I don't want to communicate much anyway. I just want a woman who can boost my ego, make my male friends envious, and have good sex. A love relationship to me is summed up in the criteria above. Do not contact me unless you meet those criteria.
If all the men who are like this would just say so up front, it would be such a time saver!
Since you know so much about men, why don't you just pretend they said that anyway (since that's obviously how they really feel) and act accordingly? Think of all the time you'll save!

Six figure income
Ambitious
Intelligent

Handy
Caring
A mans realistic profile would look like this:
Not overweight
Just respond back

What is "tall, dark and handsome"? Idris Elba, Denzel Washington, Henry Cavill? These men are definitely very handsome, but I'd say the majority of women end up with average-looking or slightly above average-looking men. Though I did meet and date some very handsome men, I also met and dated "5-6" men as well.
Six figure income was not part of my list, nor "ambitious." And a big no to the big d. I'll take average any day.

This is how it should be done. Transparent and forthright.
I did OLD for a short period of time and was also very honest about my intentions. I left things outcome independent and said that I'm looking to date, to see where things go. I meant every word of it too, since I wasn't looking for a relationship or a one nighter. Oddly enough, many of the women that responded wanted first date to end at my place, so it all worked out in the end.
I'm not bashing men. I'm saying they need to say what they want to save women time.
But that's NOT what all men mean.
